Almost all modern vehicles are equipped with electronic throttle control (drive-by-wire) instead of a physical cable like older vehicles. Drive-by-wire gas pedals send a signal to the engine's computer instead of using a direct cable. These systems help manufacturers meet strict emission standards or enable features such as adaptive cruise control or stability control systems. However, the electronic communication between the gas pedal and the ECU causes a big downside: Throttle lag.

Schalten Sie die Zündung aus und warten Sie 10–15 Minuten bei geöffneter Fahrertür, damit Ihre ECU heruntergefahren werden kann.

Trennen Sie den Stecker Ihrer Gaspedalbaugruppe und stecken Sie dann die Köpfe in die Anschlüsse am Pedal Commander®-Kabelbaum.

Reinigen Sie den Bereich, an dem Sie die Steuereinheit montieren möchten, mit dem Alkoholtuch. Kleben Sie die Halterung mit dem mitgelieferten Klettverschluss fest.
