Seating up to nine passengers depending on the trim level and offering V8 power, the Yukon is all you need if you’re looking for a spacious, luxury, and American-made SUV. Enhancing what is already a capable machine is not always easy. With Pedal Commander® throttle response controller, you can significantly improve your Yukon’s abilities after a simple, 15-minute installation!

Pedal Commander® connects to the throttle pedal assembly and modifies the stock throttle mapping to eliminate throttle delay. With the throttle lag gone, you can get instant power delivery and faster acceleration in your Yukon. Pedal Commander®’s four fully adjustable driving modes will enable you to fine-tune the throttle sensitivity for your liking, from smoother towing and hauling to raw power when you need it. WHAT IS THROTTLE LAG?

The modern GMC Yukon uses a drive-by-wire throttle systeö. There is no mechanical cable between your gas pedal and the throttle valve, so when you press the gas pedal, a pedal position sensor sends a signal to the ECU to open the throttle body. That electronic process introduces a delay, and GM compounds it with a conservative factory throttle mapping designed for the widest possible range of drivers, to meet EPA regulations, and hit fuel efficiency targets.

In a full-size SUV that you constantly load with passengers, tow a trailer, or haul gear, throttle lag becomes a frustrating problem. The Yukon carries big torquey engines under the hood, and those engines have the output to respond quickly. The factory throttle tune is what gets in the way.

The basic steps of the Pedal Commander® installation are always the same regardless of the vehicle's make and model:

Turn off the ignition and wait 10-15 minutes with your driver's door open to allow your ECU to shut down.

Disconnect your accelerator pedal assembly plug, then plug in the heads to connectors on the Pedal Commander® harness.

Clean up the area where you want to mount the control unit with the alcohol wipe. Stick the bracket with the supplied velcro.

After you make sure the cables are secure and won't be tangled, you are ready to enjoy Pedal Commander®.

Installed on my 15’ Yukon Denali as a means of better throttle response without messing with warranty. Immediate satisfaction and easily can notice a huge difference, no more 1-2 second lag! It’s perfect in every way. Wife states, “I don’t like that thing, every time I get on the gas I goose it!” Sport + is great if you know how to ease on the throttle. Mine is set @ sport +2 in case wife drives while I’m gone! Nice product though! Perfect option for those who want a tune but don’t want to void warranty! If it needs works via warranty, I’ll remove and reinstall factory pedal harness. When I receive vehicle back, plug it back in. Easy peasy! If I could buy one for my wife’s car I would but her 16 wrx has push button tuner. Thanks

We have a 2011 Chevy Tahoe with the 5.3 liter v8. I've literally *hated* driving this thing for the past 5-8 years.....for some reason, GM thought to put a MASSIVE throttle response delay in these trucks, and this one seems much worse than what I gather talking to other people. Welp, fast forward to putting the Pedal Commander in......and I love driving this thing all over again!!!!!! It has literally woken the truck up! In fact........it's so "woke up"......it's a little vicious in most aggressive mode, and I've had to re-learn not to floor this truck every time. TOTALLY worth the money. And in fact, I personally think it's worth THREE times the money (but don't tell Pedal Commander.......). Really happy with the purchase! P.s. one of the LED's doesn't light up on the module; it's the softest/least aggressive setting. I haven't bothered to have it replaced b/c we use the higher settings and I'm still 100% pleased with the purchase
