The basic steps of the Pedal Commander installation are always the same regardless of the vehicle's make and model:

Turn off the ignition and wait 10-15 minutes with your driver's door open to allow your ECU to shut down.

Disconnect your accelerator pedal assembly plug, then plug in the heads to connectors on the Pedal Commander harness.

Clean up the area where you want to mount the control unit with the alcohol wipe. Stick the bracket with the supplied velcro.

After you make sure the cables are secure and won't be tangled, you are ready to enjoy Pedal Commander.

What a surprise! This really wakes up the sluggish base Cayman. Throttle response is so much better when I installed this. I have not tried the Sport+ mode yet, and frankly, I may not. The Sport mode with the +3 setting seems best for the PDK when not flooring the pedal. It is like I have a tune on the motor without the $$ of a tune. I am very satisfied with the Pedal Commander!

I saw the positive comments on the Pedal Commander on one of the Porsche message boards. I did additional research and everything I found was positive and very attractive. I decided to order the Pedal Commander for my 2008 Porsche Cayman base 987.1 I love the car but I always have been little disappointed with the throttle response, everything else about the car was simply amazing. I am the second owner and at just over 22K miles, the car is just broken in and ready to drive! I ordered the device, super easy with great communication. Fast shipping, I think 3 days from the West Coast to Ohio. The installation instructions were clear and easy. The iPhone app is great and works like a charm. The hardest issue I had was getting the Porsche throttle pedal to release the connector. After a few minutes and maybe ultimately just plain old luck... I finally got it unplugged. I plugged in the Pedal Commander with a positive "click" and then onto the test drive! I set mine on to start on standard "City". I noticed a significant difference, but I wanted more... I changed the setting to "Sport +1" and all I can say is....Holy smokes!!! What difference!!! You push the gas and it goes... period! No delay, no hesitation, just forward thrust!!! I love the Pedal Commander. It is easily the best "upgrade" money I have spent on the car. I'd recommend the Pedal Commander to anyone that wants immediate throttle response and driving feedback. Pedal Commander works as advertised... period! What a great product and first class company to do business with! I am impressed!!! Thank You!!!
